Natia Mezvrishvili, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs made a statement regarding the fact of beating of opposition supporters in Akhalkalaki. According to Natia Mezvrishvili, the victims have not been threatened. According to her, the entire process of interrogation of Remik Pogosyan is recorded on video.

According to Natia Mezvrishvili, the information spread by victim and the united opposition differs from each other. According to her, the MIA will conduct all relevant investigative actions to establish the truth.

An investigation into the fact of beating opposition supporter  in Akhalkalaki is under investigation.

"The victim says one, the United Opposition - says other, we carry all the necessary investigative actions to determine which version is correct, "says Natia Mezvrishvili.

The victim has not denied or confirmed the fact. However his  family members say that he has been beaten by masked men .
