"State is fightng not only against Zaza Saralidze, but everyone who decides to stand on his side" - Eka Gigauri

Eka Gigauri, executive director of Transparency International Georgia, is at the Solidarity Demonstration in front of the Parliament.

Law enforcers did not allow her to set up the tents. Gigauri says that there is no law that forbids demonstrators to set up tents.

"They violated the constitution and legislation of Georgia. Obviously, they get illegal orders and perform these illegal orders, "says Gigauri.

According to Eka Gigauri, law enforcers are acting illegally.

"They did not allow us to express our opinion peacefully and did not allow us to set up tents, which is the right granted to us by the Constitution. Therefore, I think this is a very clear example that the state is fightingnot only against Zaza Saralidze, but all those people who decide to stand on his side, "Gigauri said.

According to Eka Gigauri, if the government does not want to have tents in front of the Parliament, they should investigate the Khorava street case.
