"Pre-election scam" - opposition assesses government`s initiative on writing off debts

Opposition parties call total terror and racket the action of the ruling team regarding microfinance business. According to their assessment, the government has gone beyond all boundaries and uses all methods for pressure on business. In the ruling team, the initiative is referred to as an unprecedented charity action, whereas the opposition"s reaction was predictable. "Rustavi2" found out that the Ministry forces the companies to sell "Black Debts" to Bidzina Ivanishvili"s "Cartu" Foundation for minimum of 1% of the amount of the loan. Those who do not agree with Ivanishvili"s conditions will not reach a deal with them - microfinance organizations have a deadline till 5 December.

"Bidzina Ivanishvili does not intend to repay any debts and does not intend to pay any millions for this debt, he came directly and started a real racket of microfinance organizations, in fact we got just a pre-election campaign scam but I would like to warn representatives of Bidzina Ivanishvili`s team that people no longer believe his promises, "- says Zaal Udumashvili.

Zurab Tchiaberashvili, a member of the European Georgia, said that the government has begun to fight against the lending organizations instead of taking care of the economy.

The majority criticize the opponents and call the government"s new initiative "an unprecedented charity action".
