Members of the First Parliament of Independent Georgia declare support to Grigol Vashadze.
Vakhtang Tsagareishvili, Bezhan Javakhia and Revaz Kemularia, three former members of the Supreme Council, state that in 1989 when they signed an Independence Declaration, they knew that the fight with Russia would be long and hard .
According to former MPs, the presidential election is another Russian action against Georgia, and Salome Zourabichvili is a Russian project. So MPs openly support Grigol Vashadze and join his election campaign.
"The regime that has governed Georgia for the past six years is nothing less than oligarchic rule, it is the Russian occupation regime that is presented in this way, it is not a Georgian dream, it is a Russian dream, "said Professor of Ilia State University, Bezhan Javakhia, member of the Supreme Council of Georgia in 1990-91.
