"European Georgia" protests against increase of water tariff tax for family type hotels. According to Akaki Bobokhidze, the regulatory commission has already made a decision, according to which family hotel owners should pay taxes on commercial tariffs, which is 13 times higher than the consumer tariff.
Members of "European Georgia" call on the government to change the GNCC decision, as the increase in taxes will hinder small business and tourism development.
"This is a big burden for family hotels, which is naturally preventing the business sector that is called family hotels and tourism," - Akaki Bobokhidze said.
