Members of the opposition say that after 2011 education budget has increased twice; however, the population pays money for deterioration of school quality education.
The head of the Education Department of Political Platform New Georgia, Nana Togvadze, presented the findings of the survey of 2018, according to which the 12th graders" parents pay twice as much taxes for their children`s education.
According to her, the quality of the school can not meet the requirements.The opposition calls on the Parliament to demand relevant explanations on the initiatives of the Ministry of Education and do not fulfill the function of the notary of the government.
"If we say that education is a priority, there are acute issues that the Georgian Dream failed to do in the conditions of the double budget. This promise and positively packed message box is another lie that the statistics and recent studies offer. We want answers from the prime minister, what has been done since 2012, "said Nana Togvadze.
