Judicial System Reform - Kobakhidze sends draft law to the Venice Commission

Irakli Kobakhidze"s draft law regarding the judicial system reform has been sent to the Venice Commission . Leader of the parliamentary majority made this statement.The ruling party says that the initial conclusion of the commission will be submitted to the Parliament in the nearest future. According to Archil Talakvadze, the recommendations of the Commission will be public.
" We addressed the Venice Commission, which has the largest experience and is an impartial international organization in this area, it will evaluate this bill and send us its recommendations and conclusions which will be public. These conclusions by the very authoritative organization can eliminate all the allegations and questions that may arise in the process of reviewing this project, "- Archil Talakvadze said.
Leader of the parliamentary majority answered criticisms of former teammates about Kobakhidze"s draft law. According to Talakvadze, the accusations of former members of "Georgian Dream" are groundless.
"The statements that we heard are not reasonable. This is a political assessment that delivers a content review from a completely different angle and we will not allow it, "Talakvadze said.
According to Eka Beselia and his colleagues, Kobakhidze"s initiative will not be able to free the judiciary from the control of the High Council of Justice and judges`clan.
