The City Hall is likely to make amendments in the General Plan - after the news , broadcasted by "Courier" yesterday, the status of 14 thousand square meters near Bidzina Ivanishvili"s Palace will not be amended.
Revaz Sokhadze, the Chairman of Urban Planning and City Commission of the City council says that the opposition was speaking about the technical shortcoming yesterday and it will be corrected.

"Botanical Garden has a status of the monument and it is not in danger. It was a technical fault and should be corrected, "said Revaz Sokhadze.

Giorgi Tkemaladze, the Chairperson of the City Council claims that there might be a "spot" on the map, but it is a mistake and the status of recreational zone 1 will be maintained.

The City Council"s opposition yesterday claimed that the general plan of the capital city is tailored to Bidzina Ivanishvili"s interests.

The Opposition found out a day before adopting the general plan, that status of 14 thousand square meters of lands near Bidzina Ivanishvili"s house was changed. According to a new status, construction of buildings was allowed in this area.
