Irakli Sesiashvili has suspended the draft law on obligatory military service. the MP has made a statement himself.

According to Sesiashvili, he is not going to withdraw the draft law, it will be suspended temporarily. According to the MP, the discussion and consultations will be held on the issue.

According to the project developed by Irakli Sesiashvili, the norm, according to which the clergy, or the priests in the clerical institution, had the right to postpone the mandatory military service, should be abolished. The amendment will not apply to Orthodox clergy.
