Shalva Shavgulidze, the candidate of "Free Democrats" will represent Free Democrats in the Mtatsminda majoritarian constituency in the interim parliamentary elections.

Shavgulidze made a statement today. According to him, "Free Democrats" had consultations with other Western orientation parties, but ultimately decided that the party would present its candidate.

"We" Free Democrats "have decided not to miss this election and to participate in it. We decided yesterday that I will be a majoritarian candidate. We have close and intensive consultations with "European Georgia", "National Movement" and the whole United opposition, "Shavgulidze said.
