"Recently, the Department has frequently made factual mistakes in the reports," said the first deputy chair person of the parliament of Georgia, Tamar Chugoshvili, member of the faction "Georgian Dream".
Chugoshvili responded to the report of the US Department of State, according to which illicit income is mainly generated from fraud-related crimes (scams, stolen banking cards, etc.) and cybercrime, either in Georgia or abroad.
Chugoshvili says she does not know who provided the State Department with information from Georgia, but according to the MP, there are many inaccuracies in the report.
According to Chugoshvili, the Interior Minister spoke that there are problems in the country with drugs.
