Beselia and Kvachantiradze may be forced to leave the parliamentary delegation of the Council of Europe

MPs Eka Beselia and Zviad Kvachantiradze, who have left the parliamentary majority may be forced to leave the parliamentary delegation of the Council of Europe - this issue will be discussed at today"s Foreign Committee sitting.

Eka Beselia links the decision of the Chairman of the Parliament with personal revenge.

"This is no longer funny, that because of personal mood and revenge, the Chairman of the Parliament decides to dismiss Zviad Kvachantiradze and me from this delegation. Because this delegation should not be changed until January, "said Beselia.

According to her, this is possible only if extraordinary parliamentary elections are held.

Dimitri Tskitishvili, the deputy chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for Human Right, says that Eka Beselia and Zviad Kvachantiradze represented the parlimentary majority in the delegation and the ruling team wants to be represented by its members.
