Presidential Avlabari residence has changed its name. According to the current information, now it is called the Palace of State Ceremonies.The new function for the president"s former palace was determined by the agreement between the President, the Government and the Parliament.
After Salome Zourabichvili became the president, the doors of Avlabari Palace will be opened for the first time today.
The president, who refused to enter the building, will hold the reception on April 9 in Avlabari residence.
The President is waiting for signatories of the Independence Act of Georgia, but it is expected that she will have a meeting with a small group.
