The President of Georgia started her speech on the 30th anniversary of the April 9 tragedy with a minute of silence. Then she listed Georgian citizens , who died in the April 9 tragedy. The president forgot to name Tamar Chovelidze, 16, who was killed on 9 April night.
Afterwards she addressed the former deputies of the Supreme Council and the wife of Georgia"s first President, fbut as it turned out, Manana Archvadze-Gamsakhurdia was not in the hall.
Salome Zourabichvili explained that Manana Archvadze-Gamsakhurdia had warned the administration that she would not be able tatted the event.
"It is symbolic that here is ... or should be the first president"s wife," - the president said.
