The position of the Chairperson of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia is vacant. So far the identity of Vakhtang Kolbaia"s substitutei s not known.
The IDPs" initiative group from Abkhazia supports Leila Guledani"s appointment. The letter will be sent to the President and Prime Minister today.
Guledan, now executive director of the NGO "Internally Displaced Persons` Association for Peace," says she has a concrete plan of rapprochement with the Abkhazians.
According to media reports several days ago, Vakhtang Kolbaia may be replaced by Ruslan Abashidze.First Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality is considered as the staff of Salome Zurabishvili.
