Irakli Kobakhidze, the Chairman of the Parliament is for the conclusion and recommendations of the Venice Commission regarding the rule of selection of judges in the Supreme Court for tomorrow.

According to Irakli Kobakhidze, the draft law initiated by him will be adopted only after the publication of the conclusion.

"The Venice Commission is informed about the timing of the case, we have asked to publish the conclusion this week in order to adopt the bill till Friday . Therefore, we are waiting for the draft law for tomorrow, "Kobakhidze said.

As for the question why the parliamentary majority is in a hurry to get the draft law initiated by them, - Kobakhidze says that at the Supreme Court only ten judges are present, and in June the number will be reduced to eight.
