Members of the US House Representative Chamber Delegation are holding meetings in Tbilisi.
The 20-member delegation of congressmen met with the parliament chairperson and deputies of the parliamentary majority.The legislative reforms, security issues and democracy challenges were discussed at the meeting.
"Democracy plays an important role as well as fair elections, as well as democracy strengthening state institutions between the elections and constitutional amendments made in Georgia are more clear, the Parliament is the first leading agency.
"We are well aware of what values Georgia has and what it has to fight for the sake of maintaining democracy and strengthening democratic values in the country."
We well know that for the last 10 years, Georgia has been strongly committed to becoming a full member of the NATO and the United States always welcomes Georgia Active participation in the international activities, "- said the US House of Representatives delegation member, David Price.
