According to opponents of the government, the ruling team is not going to accept the recommendations of the Commission regarding the draft law on judges of the Supreme Court.
According to the opposition, "Georgian Dream" will writes in the document, whatever Bidzina Ivanishvili wants.
"The whole process depends on several people, Okhanashvili, Mdinaradze-Talakvadze, Kobakhidze. They went to Ivanishvili, held consultations, wrote something in the informal document. None of MPs has read it. Now we have to hear about it from Okhanashvili and trust him,"- said one of the leaders of UNM, Nika Melia.
According to the opposition members, the Venice Commission"s conclusion has not been discussed at the committee hearing. According to them, discussion of the controversial bill in an accelerated manner is inadmissible.
Recently, the opponents of the government demanded a certain time at the parliament session to get acquainted with the new draft.
" It appears that none of the MPs has ever seen a draft law, and this morning they gave us something, this unofficial version,"- said David Bakradze, the leader of the "European Georgia".
