The activity , which is allowed for the mayoral candidate of the "Georgian Dream", is banned for opposition. It was banned to hold political activities in the historical yard of Dadiani palace by the orderof the Minister of Education and Culture . The decree is dated 7 April, the next day after "Georgian Dream" presented Gega Shengelia at this place.
According to the decree, political parties should ask permission from the management of the museum to hold the event 60 days in advance.
The Education and Culture Ministry explains that there is nothing special in the order and similar decisions will be taken before all elections. The ministry also says that the document is not signed by the Minister and the decision belongs to the museum.
