Georgia and Portugal agreed on cooperation on temporary labour migration. Portugal has expressed readiness to cooperate with Georgia in the field of circular migration.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the issue was discussed during the visit of Davit Zalkaliani in Lisbon.

"The Portuguese side expressed readiness to cooperate regarding temporary legal employment issues with Georgia. The relevant contact persons have been identified and the visit of the Georgian delegation to Portugal is being planned, in the frameworks of which the further steps will be taken, "- says the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia .
