Turkish law enforcers detained a suspect in terrorism. According to the security services, the arrested Syrian citizen Abdul Karim Helipia and is a member of the "Islamic State" group.
The suspect planned an attack at the event dedicated to the anniversary of the Gallipoli war, which was attended by hundreds of Australian and New Zealand citizens yesterday.
The detainee was brought before the court where he was formally charged.
