The examples of Afghanistan and Ukraine proved once again that the only permanent friend of the state is its sovereignty. Sovereignty is the strongest guarantee of a country"s security. That is why we cannot agree to any demand that implies giving up Georgia’s independence.

This would be irresponsibility to the heroes of April 9, who sacrificed themselves here, on this square, for the idea of national independence of Georgia.
