The National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement became a member of the European Quality Assurance Agencies Association. Tbilisi is hosting the event"European Quality Higher Education."
The Prime Minister of Georgia Mamuka Bakhtadze, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Mikheil Batiashvili participated in the event. Representatives of diplomatic corps accredited in Georgia and international donor organizations, members of parliament, rectors of higher education institutions, education experts and representatives of National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement are attending the event.
The Prime Minister talked about the importance of joining the European Association. Mamuka Bakhtadze called it a historic event.
"Georgia has made another very important and principle step on the path of European integration. We have come closer to the European family in the most important direction and this is education. A few days ago, the European Quality Assurance Association, the same ENQA, decided that Georgia would join ENQA. This is a great success. This is a historical event for us, for our education system, "- said the Prime Minister.
