The President of Georgia continues his official visit to Latvia. Salome Zourabichvili met with her Latvian counterpart, who expressed support for Georgia"s integration into the NATO and the European Union and spoke about the increase of the Latvian contingent in the EU Monitoring Mission.

Salome Zourabichvili held a meeting with representatives of Diaspora as well. According to the President, the purpose of the visit serves to demonstrate the problems of immigrants and increase their engagement in the country"s public and political life.
