The Georgian government is involved in another scandal - the Economy Minister claims that she has learned about the permission issued by her agency on May 2 28 days later.

This is not an ordinary order or construction permit, it is a document, which allows to construct a new deep-sea port in Georgia and that kills the prospect of the Anaklia port.

The owner of Piti Port claimed yesterday night, that he starts to build a new deep-sea port in Piti. The statement was followed by an acute reaction of the Anaklia consortium members.

Mama Khazaradze"s business group directly said that the government"s play was shocking for him. Today, the Economy Minister made explanation. Natia Turunava says that the construction and technical supervision agency issued the permission and she was not aware of the case.
According to the Minister, the permit has been canceled and the head of the agency is dismissed.
