The director of the company, which was the main topic of a story in "Saturday Courier" is detained. Reportedly he is detained due to alleged corruption deals.

According to " Courier", the former director of "Building Developer" Irakli was patronized by Irakli Gharibashvili and his father-in-law Tamaz Tamazashvili .

The report of "Saturday Courier" was related to gasification works carried out by violations. According to the Prime Minister"s order, Sikhuashvili signed a 7 million contract for gasification of villages in Samegrelo region.

Now it is clear that Sul Aleksi Sikhuashvili was detained because of corruption charges related to another project as well. Sikhuashvili"s is charged for misappropriation of state funds.

His family members say they do not have information on the motives of the detention. The neighbours of the detainees assaulted Rustavi 2"s crew and threatened them.
