Observers, airtime and false candidates - Minister of Justice says that the electoral system has flaws but the minister does not speak about the replacement of the majoritarian system with proportional system.
Tea Tsulukiani says that the main thing is not to let the current law to give opportunity to politicians to attend the elections as observers and not let the so-called false candidates give opportunity to parties, to use additional free airtime.
" A recommendation, to adopt a law, which will identify who has right to be an observer. Because observers should be neutral persons, not a politicians who will break into the polling station and pretend as observers, hindering the process," said Tea Tsulukiani.
Today, the group working on electoral system reform held the first meeting.
