Foreign analyst Paul Crego has responded to the visit of Russian MPs to Georgia.
Crego says that the Georgian people"s anger and protest are absolutely clear to him. According to him, seeing any Russian in the speaker"s chair would cause such a sharp reaction. The analyst believes that Gavrilov"s invitation would not have happened without Bidzina Ivanishvili"s permission.
"Obviously, someone made a big mistake, including the Speaker of Parliament. But he would not do this without Bidzina Ivanishvili"s permission, which is the head of the Georgian Dream. Seeing any Russian in the speaker"s chair would be problematic. Especially the Communist Party member with a nationalist plan. This is a very bad symbol and I hope Ivanishvili knows that he made a big mistake. I do not know and I do not understand how this could be done, "Crego said.
