Salome Zourabichvili responded to the developments in front of the Parliament building. The President of Georgia thanked the police. She said that peaceful demonstration went beyond the constitutional framework.

"People came out to defend themselves and the dignity of the country, and later they found themselves in uncontrollable situation. Some of them, because they were provoked by political motivated foolish calls. all , who were standing in the streets - policeman or ordinary citizen, were their for their country, for our country. All of them are Georgians, all of them are very precious. I believe that all of them say today - the sacrifice for Georgia"s internal confrontation and aggression is enough I express my great support to all the families who are effected with this tragedy. This is not their personal tragedy, this is the tragedy of the whole country,"- Salome Zourabichvili said.
