The Prosecutor"s Office will demand from the court today to imprison Nika Melia. Based on yesterday"s events, the judge will take into consideration the arguments of the prosecution and will arrest one of the leaders of the opposition today.
Nika Melia"s attorney speaks about the absurdity of the accusation and plans to demand a non-custodial or less strict preventive measure. The parliament stripped of immunity Melia yesterday - the decision had 91 supporters.
Melia"s lawyer Giorgi Kandagashvili once again speaks about the absurdity of the accusation and emphasizes that the opposition lawmaker is not avoiding justice.
