" The Minister, as well as the Ministry of Internal Affairs, deserve gratitude and support,"- said Mamuka Bakhtadze before the sitting of the government.
The Prime Minister has appointed the government session today. Bakhtadze will meet with ministers in the government"s administration at this moment.
" In the history of independent Georgia, the government has been replaced by violent means for two times. The society remembers well that both times the parliament was attacked, both cases ended with the hardest results for our country, it brought authoritarianism, occupation of territories, a war between brothers, economic collapse and chaos in the country and we still feel the consequences of these very hard events. In both cases, it turned out that state institutions, specifically the Ministry of Internal Affairs were not working properly.
We and the MIA managed to avoid this grave scenario and the hardest experience. The Minister, as well as the Ministry of Internal Affairs, deserve gratitude and support, "- said the Prime Minister.
