Leaders of opposition parties are summoned for questioning in connection with the developments in Rustaveli Avenue on the night of June 20. One of them is Gigi Ugulava, one of the leaders of "European Georgia".
But it is not clear when their questioning will occur. Gigi Ugulava, along with members of "European Georgia", left for Germany late last night and will return to Tbilisi on Sunday. According to Ugulava, he is ready to go for questioning immediately after returning to Georgia, but will only give testimony in the presence of a magistrate judge.
One of the leaders of "European Georgia" refuses to go to the prosecutor"s office until the Interior Minister is not questioned. Gigi Ugulava was summoned to the Investigation Service yesterday, but he did not go.
"The trust towards the investigation is naturally zero, it is impossible to trust the investigation that does not even answer the question, who gave the order to shoot, "- Gigi Ugulava said.
