"After the August war, we were cautiously going to de-escalation of relations with Georgia" - Yevgeny Primakov

After Vladimir Putin, the Russian version of Georgia-Russia relation was distorted by the deputy of the Duma, Yevgeny Primakov. In an article published on the Russian TV channel RTR, Russian MP recalls the history of the last 10 years and writes that after the August war, Russia acted carefully for the de-escalation of relations with Georgia.
Yevgeny Primakov also wrote about the agreement reached on the issue of the so-called Abkhazian railway with the present government of Georgia.
"We have already found an agreement on the railway corridor in Armenia on the railway route via the Abkhazian territories, which could possibly be activated by the Georgian authorities," - Yevgeny Primakov.
