A new stage of political persecution has begun in the country - the Parliamentary Opposition assesses the prosecutor"s statement on the TBC Bank case, according to which Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze are charged.

According to NGO member Salome Samadashvili, the government tries to dismantle Anaklia project on the one hand and on the other hand not to allow the competitor to enter the political arena.

"Prosecutor"s Office actually has started persecution against Japaridze and Khazaradze. First of all, it was Khazaradze"s statement that he intends to enter the political arena and secondly, we saw Ms. Tskitishvili"s statement that there is nothing going on regarding Anaklia. In fact, she confirmed that the government plans to disrupt the Anaklia project. Considering the fact that the United States of America has received very strict messages on this issue, today it is very important for them to neutralize Khazaradze. A dictatorial regime is being established,"- says Salome Samadashvili.

Gigi Ugulava also speaks about political revenge by Bidzina Ivanishvili. The member of "European Georgia" says that the government has started repressions against opponents and this interrogation of the opposition representatives clearly confirms it.
