Elisabeth Rood has visited Tserovani IDP settlement. According to the US acting Ambassador to Georgia, the US continues with pride to stand by Georgia.
"The United States is proud to continue to stand by Georgia and take care of the internally displaced population so that they can live here with dignity before returning home safely," Elizabeth Rood wrote.
Eleven years have passed since the August 2008 war. Hundreds of people died as a result of Russian aggression against Georgia, and up to 30,000 of our citizens became refugees in their homeland.
