Heroes, who sacrificed their lives exactly 11 years ago for Georgia"s unity and territorial integrity, have been honored since the morning. Representatives of the executive and legislative authorities have visited Mukhatgverdi cemetery recently.
Georgian President and Prime Minister laid a wreath at the memorial of the fallen heroes.
Eleven years have passed since the August 2008 war. Hundreds of people died as a result of Russian aggression against Georgia, and up to 30,000 of our citizens became refugees in their homeland.
