The state has not yet made a decision on the debt of Rustavi 2. It is unknown whether the Ministry of Finance will write off the debt that the company owes to the budget. The Finance Minister says the sum is quite large and accordingly difficult to pay, though there have been no negotiations yet.

Imedi TV has debt as well. Ivane Machavariani does not have an answer to this question as well. As he says, none of the broadcasting companies has appealed to the department for debt relief so far. According to him, the issue will be discussed with the heads of the TV companies.
