President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili met with President of the European Council Donald Tusk within the framework of the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The sides discussed Georgia"s European integration process.
Donald Tusk once again reaffirmed his support for Georgia, as the President of the European Council. He said that he would share supportive positions towards Georgia to the commission.
During the meeting Zourabichvili and Tusk also discussed the main directions of future cooperation and the issues of development of already existing solid relations between the European Union and Georgia.
