Angi Khutsishvili, Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of Georgia, came to the Prosecutor’s Office for questioning. He was summoned to the Prosecutor"s Office for the case of 34 pardoned prisoners at 12:00.
He did not answer even a single question about the scandalous pardon.
The President Salome Zourabichvili has pardoned several people convicted of murder, including murder of 22-year-old police officer, Tarash Mukbaniani, Giorgi Otkhmezuri"s son, David Otkhmezuri and Soso Koiava in connection with Virgin Mariam Day.
Following the scandalous pardon, the Prosecutor"s Office launched an investigation against convicts Ramaz Devadze, Aslan Bezhanidze, Zurab Nadiradze and others on the “possible abuse of power” during this pardon process.
