A gunman killed two people outside a synagogue in the eastern German city of Halle, apparently filming his attack with a head-mounted camera and broadcasting the attack live on a social network.
At the beginning of the 35-minute video, a man in a green jacket that matches eyewitness accounts introduces himself as “Anon”.
Before the shooting, the man uttered words of anti-Semitic content. The culprit is a 27-year-old German citizen. Police link the incident to right-wing extremists. A shootout in the middle of the street killed two people.
