The Ecuadorian president has reached an agreement with the protesters. After 12 days of protests, Lenin Moreno canceled the order to cut subsidies on oil.

The president announced the creation of a commission with Aboriginal leaders to pass the new law.

Mass protests in the Ecuadorian capital of Quito have been going on since October 3. The protesters were protesting the rise of fuel prices.
