The Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia responded to a journalist"s question about so-called “threatening letter” sent to TBC Bank founder Mamuka Khazaradze.
Journalists asked whether the situation would be changed after Khazaradze handed over the original letter to the Prosecutor’s Office and whether the Prime Minister was ready to arrive at the Prosecutor’s Office in case of necessity.
“I don"t know how to respond to it. I have once said that I would wait for what they say and then I would comment on it. The current situation makes me say that I am ready for everything”, - said Gakharia.
Mamuka Khazaradze said at a parliamentary committee hearing that Giorgi Gakharia had sent him a threatening letter in the pre-election period. The examination of the letter was conducted in London. Today, Khazaradze"s lawyers should present the original letter to the Prosecutor"s Office.
