Zugdidi District Court has sentenced Iasha Arnania to pretrial detention for wounding his grandchildren.
Arnania, who is accused at the trial, who does not have a lawyer at this stage, said he did not agree with the prosecution"s motion to sentence him, but added that he could not even bail.
"I don"t even have the money for the drug and how to pay it", - told he to the judge.
The incident in which an 82-year-old man stabbed his grandson in the head with a knife occurred on October 21 in Darcheli. According to the investigation, the motive for the crime became a domestic conflict. The accused was arrested at his home the same day.
The process ended a few minutes ago.
