Giorgi Bagratiani, former head of the Municipal Department for Supervision, will head one of the departments at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.

Minister of Internal Affairs Vakhtang Gomelauri personally presented the new head of Security Police Department.

"The new head of the Security Police Department - Giorgi Bagrationi is a principled person, a professional and a good manager. I think he will do this job well. A lot of good things have been done, a lot of steps forward and this will definitely continue", - Vakhtang Gomelauri said at a meeting with security police officers.

Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze announced at today’s meeting of Tbilisi government that Giorgi Bagratiani had left the position of the head of the Municipal Department for Supervision on his own decision.
