The body of a man was found near Gori fortress

The body of a 60-year-old man was found on the slope of the Gori fortress on the hiking trail of tourists.

According to Kurieri, the deceased had wounds to his head. A police and a group of forensic experts have been mobilized at the scene.

The cause of death will be known after examination of the body.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has not commented on the incident yet.
