EU enlargement is one of the main priorities in Georgia. The Prime Minister of Georgia said this during the EU Enlargement Summit organized by Euronews in Brussels.

As he noted, becoming a full member of the European Union is written into the Constitution of Georgia, and Georgian society remains committed to this goal.

“EU enlargement is one of the main priorities in Georgia. This is written into the Constitution of Georgia, and the Government of Georgia - the “Georgian Dream” government - added this clause to the Constitution of Georgia, this norm regarding Georgia's ambition to become a full member of the European Union. Georgian society is committed to this goal, and with this in mind, we won the 2024 parliamentary elections. The main slogan in these parliamentary elections was “To Europe with Dignity””, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
