The Tbilisi Medical Institute (TIM) will be temporarily closed.

“Some patients will be transferred to different clinics, others will be placed under quarantine. The majority of our employees are in quarantine now. As soon as we all leave the quarantine, the clinic will be disinfected and reopen. A total of 9 people are infected in the clinic - 2 doctors, 5 nurses and 2 patients” – said Giorgi Kachakhidze, the Director of the clinic.

According to the existing information, the source of the spread of the infection in the clinic was a nurse, who has been infected from her priest brother.
