6 435 Georgian citizens returned to the homeland since COVID-19 outbreak

Georgia continues to evacuate its citizens from high risk countries.

As of April 17 Georgian diplomatic missions and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs helped 7 353 Georgian citizens abroad and brought back 6 435 citizens to their homeland from different coronavirus-hit areas.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that yesterday a Paris-Tbilisi-Paris flight brought 180 Georgian citizens back home.

Georgian citizens who are abroad and want to return to the country have to fill a special electronic application, which is available on the website of the MFA and on the websites of the diplomatic missions of Georgia.
