Mufti of Georgia calls on Georgian Muslims for praying at home during Ramadan

Mufti of Administration of Muslims of Georgia Adam Shantadze called on Georgian Muslims for praying at home during the month of Ramadan.

As Shantadze said, group prayers will not be carried out at mosques as security measure amid the pandemic situation in Georgia.

“The decision about how to celebrate Bayram would be made according to the pandemic situation in the country. This year we will mark Bayram on May 24”, - said the Mufti of Administration of Muslims of Georgia.
