An 80-year-old Georgian citizen has died in New York. He was diagnosed with coronavirus in one of the city’s hospitals and was suffering from a chronic illness, diabetes.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, the Consulate of Georgia is in constant contact with the family members of the deceased.
